DP-100 Course retirement but still available via MSLE
- Aug 18, 2026
Dear Michal_Plawsiuk ,
Thank you for reaching out.
DP-100T01: Designing and Implementing a Data Science Solution on Azure was retired on April 30, 2026 but hasn't been removed from the Microsoft Learn for Educators (MSLE) catalog as part of ongoing updates to the platform curriculum. Its replacement course is AI-300T00: Operationalize machine learning and generative AI solutions. (no labs available)
As a result, student lab environments for DP-100 are no longer provided through MSLE. Educators planning future offerings should review the current MSLE catalog and consider migrating to the replacement learning path and associated course materials.
We appreciate your understanding as we continue to update the program to align with the latest Azure AI and machine learning technologies.
Kind regards,
Carlos ChavesMSLE Community Manager

Dear Carlos,
Thank you for the clarification.
Since DP-100 has been retired and labs are no longer available, I wanted to ask whether there are any plans to add AI-300T00 to the MSLE catalog. At the moment, educators can still select DP-100 when registering a course, but AI-300 does not appear as an option.
For planning the next semester, it would be very helpful to know whether AI-300 will become available within MSLE, or whether we should look for an alternative learning path.
Thank you again for your support.
