Windows Login MFA via Intune
Dear Experts,
Does Microsoft support MFA on windows login via Intune?
I know there are third party tools for this but can we enforce windows login MFA via Intune?
- Asadafridi422Copper ContributorHello Salman, Did you find any solution? I'm searching for this kind of solution.
- NicklasOlsenIron ContributorHi,
Take a look at web sign-in; you can enforce MFA for that.
However, I would recommend you take a look at other passwordless methods as well.

Yes, Microsoft Intune supports multi-factor authentication (MFA) for Windows login. To configure it, follow these steps:
1. Log on to the Microsoft Intune administration console.
2. Navigate to Administration > Mobile Device Management > Multi-factor Authentication.
3. Select "Configure Multi-factor Authentication."
4. In the dialog box, choose "Enable Multi-factor Authentication" and click OK You could always enable the web sign in.. (which you could also use in combination with tap)
Web Sign-In | Microsoft Authenticator App | Passwordless (call4cloud.nl)
But totally removing the other sign in methods is difficult... you could indeed enable thepasswordless option to improve the flow a bit
- NicklasOlsenIron ContributorHi Muhammad,
What would you like to achieve with enforcing MFA on Windows login?
Have you tried looking at passwordless instead?
