Unable to deploy out of band update 26200.7628
Sorry, my mistake. I didn't have Windows Update Health Tools https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb4023057-update-health-tools-windows-update-service-components-fccad0ca-dc10-2e46-9ed1-7e392450fb3a installed, I mistakenly assumed that they were pre-installed on Win 25H2. For those who have the same problem, I deployed MSI as a win32 app via Intune, as the classic installation did not work: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=103324
Per the note at https://docs.microsoft.com/mem/intune/protect/windows-10-expedite-updates, you shouldn’t need to install the Update Health Tools on Windows 11 24H2 and above. If the Microsoft Update Health Service was not already present on your machines, I would recommend contacting support.
Edit: I may be wrong as far as my assumption that the Microsoft Update Health Service is still supposed to be present on Windows 11 24H2 and above.
Edit 2: I have confirmed that the Microsoft Update Health Tools should not be installed on Windows 11 24H2 and above, and the Microsoft Update Health Service service should not be present. If the service is present, this may negatively impact the installation of expedited updates.
Our company had all laptops on 25H2 without Windows Update Health Tools, and when I deployed the expedite update, it didn't propagate anywhere. Then I deployed Windows Update Health Tools and the update appeared on all laptops.
