Managed Home Screen FIDO2 authentication
I've recently just made an app that actually allows this to work now.
You tap the NFC Fido2 Device to the back of the device, and it will automatically present the user with an option to type in their Fido2 pin and tap their Fido2 key again. No need to set a separate MHS Session Pin.
After that, they get logged into the device. No need to enter a UPN or a password. If they lock the screen, they can press a button that says "Unlock John Smith" that takes them back to their session by tapping their Fido and entering the pin. Again, no separate Session Pin.
Alternatively, if on the lock screen, you can select the option "Log in as New User".
It still uses the original Microsoft MHS underneath, the user just doesn't see any of that. Each user log in clears the previous user's stuff and still automatically signs them into MS Apps.
I'm currently working on making the app less organisation specific before publishing it to the Play Store.
