I haven't encountered this behavior. I'd suggest you register a ticket with MSFT for this, as you can reproduce it, but only in APAC-tenants. Unfortunately, I don't have access to any APAC-tenants to further test it for you.
Also, as APAC tenants are updated first: what version is your tenant on?
Tenant location: Asia Pacific 0101, Service release: 2205
Tenant location: Asia Pacific 0201, Service release: 2205
Note: Both were on 2204 when the issue started (yesterday), given the timing the issue seems related to the new release.
