Consequences for device with new teant
For one of our customers, we need to do a tenant to tenant migration. This is due to a name change where the old name can no longer be seen, including a link to shared files from onedrive.
How can we best convert the Azure AD joined devices, if you look at local user profile, local outlook profile etc.
If anyone has experience with this, I would love to hear it.
Thanks

1. Used Intune to push Local Administrator using OMI config profile (link below).
2. Login to new Local Admin-> Disconnect the device from Old Azure tenant.
3. Reboot-> Log back in and join to the new Azure AD tenant.
4. Used User Profile Wizard (Forensit) to keep the same profile for the user to login. There some other options to do this like changing some registry setting which can do the same.
Good luck and let us know if you have any questions!
