Configuring Web Content Filter for Allowed Sites
I have Safari auto launching in Kiosk mode on a supervised iPad. We have set web content filtering to allow a specific URL however the URL redirects to another link and therefore the user is unable to browse because it is not specified as an allowed site. We could add the second and 3rd URL to compensate for the redirects, however it create multiple bookmarks and looks messy. What's the workaround for this?
- SebastiaanSmitsSteel ContributorHi, you use the device feature to enable Webcontent Filtering I guess? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/configuration/ios-device-features-settings#web-content-filter
There is really no other solution, web content filter works by allowing or denying, in your case you are denying by default and only allowing certain URL's (and that is the right solution mostly for Kiosk type of devices) so adding extra URL's for redirects are necessary. I only do not understand what you mean with the comment: "it create multiple bookmarks"
