after azure AD join Local Accouts hidden

After joint a laptop to AzureAD the local accounts are hidden and can't be signed in to. They can be seen under computer management. But cannot be signed in to. Has anyone experienced this issue? is there a work around that doesn't involve disconnecting the computer from azure AD?
