2 years and counting and this very simple feature still isn't implemented resulting in people downloading whole folders to view locally as switching each video to some usable resolution from 240p is a total pain. Sure, this "investigation" must have born fruit by now, however I see meaningless UI changes and anything else added before the "make 240p as default and call it auto" will be retired.
