Clipchamp is broken
Since 21.01.2026 I have had a range of problems with Clipchamp. Transitions menu as well as Effects not showing. Can't use either feature. Repair and reset did not resolve the issues. At times I get an error Code when opening a project that transitions for clip not valid. Neither the WEB nor the APP are working properly. I am on latest window 11 - all updated - Clipchamp is on the latest built. Does anyone at MS have any idea when this feature is fully up and running.

Had the same issue. In general, if most fixes don't work then it's not your error. I checked, as of now a fix has been released on their side (I think) and the transitions (+text) load properly again. Not sure if the app is working since I use web but it should.
Really hope this doesn't happen again.

These menus randomly show up and then disappear again regardless of any user intervention, so don't waste your time trying to debug an inherent Clipchamp bug. BTW, the APP versions is just another interface to the web application, whose server-side code seems to be "in flux." Most likely, a ham-handed attempt to add AI fluff has backfired.
