New Public Customer Stories

Azure

• Azure DNS Private Resolver in Switzerland North
• Azure Database for PostgreSQL: Hyperscale (Citus) in Switzerland West (was in North before)
  (renamed to Azure Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL)
• SAP launched Business Technology Platform BTP in Azure Switzerland, SAP Analytics Cloud SAC and SuccessFactors coming up next

Microsoft 365

• From Nov 1 2022 – April 30 2023, there is a new and the final opt-in window to have specific M365 data moved to Swiss DCs within 24 months starting May 2023.
• If a customer misses this last free opt-in window and wants to get specific M365 data moved to Swiss DCs later, there will be NO further move exceptions and a fee applies. The add-on has a list price of 2 USD per user per month as an ongoing license – not a one-time move fee.
• No impact currently known for customers who already got moved to Swiss DCs. In the future, local data residency for certain M365 workloads may only be guaranteed if customers purchase the add-on.
• Education Tenants do not receive another free move opt-in, while their add-on fee is greatly reduced.
• Further resources will be shared in a separate partner zone post in November.

Dynamics 365

• Real-Time Marketing / Customer Journey Onboarding now available with local data residency in Switzerland.
