    Hi Dazza, 

    Thanks for your question. the Managers Enabled number (1,729) is calculated by default through AAD. Once the HR data file is uploaded and validated then that will take precedent and be used to calculate the managers enabled. Since you've already uploaded an HR file, then that will be used to calculate the number of managers enabled. 

    For your second question, the manager is included in the 10-person minimum group size. additional details: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/insights/use/manager-settings
