Azure IoT Remote Monitoring for device management, telemetry, and alert response

IoT device deployment success is dependent on three key business operations: remote management, telemetry and alert response. Firmware and security patches need to be scheduled and remotely deployed with minimum downtime; telemetry data needs to be collected and processed at the edge without relying on cloud processing; alerts derived from the telemetry need to be responded to, sometimes without assuming cloud connectivity is always available.
