Upgrading from 2010
- May 01, 2025
If you're asking about upgrading from Exchange Server 2010 to Exchange Server 2013, you can't run an in-place upgrade on old Exchange Server. You'll need to build a new server with the later version on it and migrate everything to that new server, then decommission the old 2010 server. I would recommend bypassing Exchange Server 2013 as Exchange Server 2010 and Exchange Server 2016 can co-exist in the same environment.
