Unable to delete shared Onenote Notebook

Hi Microsoft Community,

If I could please get some help with the following.

I created an outlook group and assigned 2 other team members as the owners (including myself). Through that I accessed and created OneNotes.
Now due to some structure changes I no longer require that group, thus I have deleted that group.

But I am completely failing at deleting this notebook which was associated with that group.
