Restore mailbox to PST from Tape backup on Commvault

First of all sorry the question is related to CommVault but on Database restore to PST.

Is it possible to restore mailbox from Commvault as a PST extract?

However, if Commvault looking for the Exchange database server then its not available.

Therefore, is it mandate to have the Exchange Database server or Database storage to be available.

In order for Commvault to restore a mailbox that is residing on its TAPE drive in PST?

Any pointer will be deeply appreciated
