Question about moving emails into In-Place Archive Mailbox On-Demand automatically?

If you have the correct archiving policy applied to the mailbox, you need to manually run the managed folder assistant against it if you want to move items ASAP:
Start-ManagedFolderAssistant -Identity email address removed for privacy reasons
The other option is to manually move items from the online mailbox to the archive mailbox
