Prevent Incoming Appointment/Invites from creating Tentative Appointment/Placeholders

I have a VIP user that gets a lot of invites and it is cluttering there calendar.  Is there a way to have the incoming appointments to not add the tentative placeholder into there calendar unless they accept/decline.  Is there a good way to accomplish this?  Using Microsoft 365

You can change their autoaccept attribute from $False to $True on their mailbox via powershell.
But my question is for a user mailbox, it is not really something you should do, if you think it this way, "what happen if the VIP declined an important meeting because he/she had something that might be less important". Does this VIP user have an EA? If so, it would be advisable to get the EA to manage the calendar.
