Mailbox corrupted items
In Exchange mailbox, what / how is an item being considered as corrupted?
an corrupted item, meaning this item is no longer accessible for user? or the item may still be accessible however for whatever reason 'migration' detected it as corrupted?
Trying to figure out the reasonable skip x for corrupted items.
If corrupted item = no longer available anyway before migration = skip x can be as high (500)?
- Hello!
I have migrated quit a few mailboxes especially in 2010 and have usually set the skip number of corrupted items to 100. From my personal experience its normal to see corrupted items and the corrupted items dont get moved so the mailbox is "healthier"
This article is easy to read and goes over "corrupted" items:
