The details are documented here, including details on if the scenario will work for your organisation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/manage-hybrid-exchange-recipients-with-management-tools

I would like to know the mail flow for your currently configured hybrid.
The reason is that depending on your mail flow scenario,
you may decide whether to uninstall Exchange Server 2013 or not.

My mail flow already routed to Exchane Online, I tried shut down the Exchange Online and the result when user was syncing to M365 from Active Directory it have an mailbox with domain ****@onmicrosoft.com instead of my organization's domain name. Because there are attributes are managed by Exchange On-Premise- AnnTaeYounJul 15, 2024MVP

2. Does the account created in On-Premise Active Directory also use the user's PC as a domain environment?- Parker0105Jul 15, 2024Copper Contributor

2. Yes
