Label policy not deleting
Hi there
Back in January, I created a labeling policy for a specific word, so if the subject of a mail contains D1561 then delete after 7 days
but when I search for subject:"ID1561" in content search, all emails from January till now shows up.
should the policy not delete the emails containing the subject ID1561 completely?
First of all, automatic labeling based on keywords/conditions is only available in the premium E5 SKU. Other than that, check if any of the locations in which those items are stored (mailboxes, sites, etc) is not put on any type of hold.

Hi Vasil
That's really unfortunate, we bought E3 licenses for this specific purpose, we were told by our Microsoft reseller that Advanced email and DLP was a part of the E3 license.
DLP is part of E3, but automatic labeling is not. It's clearly stated in the documentation that it requires E5:
SpoilerApply labels to content automatically if it matches specific conditions, such as when the content contains:
Specific types of sensitive information. This is available for content in SharePoint and OneDrive.
Specific keywords that match a query you create. This is available for content in Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office 365 groups. The ability to apply labels to content automatically is important because:
You don’t need to train your users on all of your classifications.
You don’t need to rely on users to classify all content correctly.
Users no longer need to know about data governance policies – they can instead focus on their work.Note that auto-apply labels require an Office 365 Enterprise E5 subscription.
