In-place archiving not working as expected
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, you are probably right. I guess we have to bypass our partner on this and talk to Microsoft directly.
I get this when running your cmdlets:
Get-Mailbox blabla | select ElcProcessingDisabled,*RetentionHold*

Both ElcProcessingDisabled and RetentionHoldEnabled are set to false on the mailbox, ElcProcessingDisabled is set to false in the organization config.

Some additional guidance can be found here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/how-and-what-to-check-when-your-emails-are-not/e9087576-fe91-4809-87fc-fff8cbb17c6a

Correct tag is set on the entire mailbox when checking EAC, but when doing step 3 in your linked guide, there seems to be set a personal tag *somwhere*. It is just a bit unclear to me how i go about finding out what folder this is when looking at the XML-export from 'PR_ROAMING_XMLSTREAM'.
I checked another mailbox from the same customer, and this mailbox also had the correct tag when checking EAC , but also multiple and different tags when looking at the XML-export from 'PR_ROAMING_XMLSTREAM'.
