Exchange Online: route internal messages via Exchange on-premises
Does anyone know if it's possible to route all Exchange Online internal messages (ie messages sent between two mailboxes located in Exchange Online) via Exchange On-premises prior to delivery? I assume this isn't possible as it's using local delivery, but I thought I'd ask the wider community to find out if I'm missing something.

Yeah, it's local delivery so even with centralized transport enabled, it will still deliver the messages directly. Perhaps you can set up something with conditional routing/mail flow rules, but I haven't played with this specific scenario.
