Exchange Online custom policies vs. Standard Preset security policy

Hi Max,
You can't use preset security policy if you want custom policies to work and this because of the order of precedence:1 - The Strict preset security policy
2 - The Standard preset security policy
3 - Defender for Office 365 evaluation policies
4 - Custom policies based on the priority of the policy (a lower number indicates a higher priority).
5 - The Built-in protection preset security policy for Safe Links and Safe Attachments; the default policies for anti-malware, anti-spam, and anti-phishing.

- Max_KaiserJun 27, 2023Copper ContributorYes, as far as I can see it would work only when I use additional AND conditions like groupmemberships. As long as the Standard policy and the cusom policy works for "all accepted domains" the Standard wins.
