I still did not get answer. Anyway thanksI am not UM person, but when I googled, these articles I found- If you go threw the articles, it says when to use which type of Dial plans. SIP URI dial plan will be used in an environment that has OCS / Lync deployed or in organizations that have IP PBXs. If you have IP PBX, we have to check the specific URI types supported by your PBXs or IP PBX.
