Exchange 2010 - Public folder database removal

Hi All

 

Hope everyone is well.

 

I needed some help trying to remove a PF database from an Exchange 2010 server that I am trying to decommission. Every time I try to remove the PF database I get the following error:

 

 

 

Appreciate any advice.

    Navishkar Sadheo 
    Open ADSIEDIT.MSC
    Navigate through the following steps, replacing dummy values with yours:

     

    CN=Configuration,DC=DOMAIN,DC=LOCAL
    CN=Services
    CN=Microsoft Exchange
    CN=<Your_Exhchange_Organization_Name>
    CN=Administrative Groups
    CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)
    CN=Databases
    CN=PUBLIC_FOLDER_DATABASE

     

    Right-Click on the "CN=PUBLIC_FOLDER_DATABASE" and delete.
