Error: FailedToMailEnablePublicFoldersException:

I am trying to migrate the public folder from Exchange Server 2013 to Office365, but getting the below error,

Error: FailedToMailEnablePublicFoldersException: There are 25 Public Folders that could not be mail-enabled. Please, check the migration report starting at 10/11/2023 2:30:08 AM for additional details. This may indicate that mail public folder objects in Exchange Online are out of sync with your Exchange deployment. You may need to rerun the script Sync-MailPublicFolders.ps1 on your source Exchange server to update mail-enabled public folder objects in Exchange Online Active Directory.

Re-running the sync-mailenabledmodernpublic.Ps1  &  Sync-MailPublicFolders.ps1 folders script

finds 24 mail enabled public folders. I've deleted the batch, new PF mailbox created in Exchange 365, and started the whole process again from the beginning but it fails at the same stage with the same error. Can anyone help on this issue?

    Hi RajajiT,

The error message "FailedToMailEnablePublicFoldersException" indicates that there are public folders that could not be mail-enabled during the migration from Exchange Server 2013 to Office 365. This can happen if the mail public folder objects in Exchange Online are out of sync with the Exchange deployment.

To resolve this issue, you can try the following:

The best working solution to the error message "FailedToMailEnablePublicFoldersException" is to:

    1. Rerun the Sync-MailPublicFolders.ps1 script on the source Exchange server. This script will update the mail-enabled public folder objects in Exchange Online Active Directory.
    2. Delete the public folder mailbox in Exchange Online and create a new one. This will ensure that the public folder mailbox is properly configured.
    3. Restart the public folder migration.
