Hi RN1972 ,
I haven't used the script personally. But I saw many people are using it. Visit Q&A section of the page and see comments from users.
The truth is when you start using a PowerShell script, there are endless possibilities to modify and make it more useful. As you are in a situation to use a tool suitable for your on-premises and to be installed there, PowerShell script is the most convenient way. Consider the script as a base version and make changes as needed
