Disabling Sent Messages Storage in Mailbox
Dear all, I am currently configuring the "Scan to mail" feature of a multifunction device for which i'm using a Exchange online as SMTP relay (I have created a dedicated user/mailbox for this ) ...
So your MFP is configured to authenticate against a mailbox. Have you looked into direct send?

This will not use a mailbox and no sent items are recorded.
