definition of AutoDagTotalNumberOfDatabases

Referring to following links,

quote from the above link,

"AutoDagTotalNumberOfDatabases: The number of databases in your DAG (for example, 50)."

Does AutoDagTotalNumberOfDatabases refers to total number of active+passive? or Just the active one? As always, thanks for clarification.
