Can't make a goup calendar readonly anymore with Powershell
Good to know ashakter thanks for the info. I'll set a reminder to check in a couple of weeks.
14th August and the issue is still present on my tenant, I am able to run the command but no settings are being changed.
- Kris_Petrov_1986Aug 22, 2023Copper ContributorThe command may have been successful. My engineer told me to the below command to check if the change took effect.
Get-UnifiedGroup -Identity "NAME OF THE GROUP" -IncludeAllProperties | fl - devreugdcmAug 14, 2023Copper ContributorSame here!
- PaulKoningAug 14, 2023Brass ContributorThis error always appears, but when you check it the changes seem to have been made. You can check this with this command:
Get-UnifiedGroup -Identity "YourGroupName" -IncludeAllProperties | Format-List *Calendar*- PaulKoningAug 14, 2023Brass Contributor
Well, it seems to work for me now like it always did. You can execute the command and an error occurs that says that the properties have not been modified, but when when you check it the changes have been made.
So I use this to change the property:
Set-UnifiedGroup -Identity "GroupName" -CalendarMemberReadonly
And this to check if it had a result:Get-UnifiedGroup -Identity "GroupName" -IncludeAllProperties | Format-List *Calendar*
I check the properties regularly (every month or so). I have noticed that sometimes the properties have been reset and I have to set them again.

Still erroring out for me and not changing the properties. See attached.
Should I open a ticket with MS myself?
