Auto respons message
Hello,
We are currently migrating to Exchange 365 as our new mailfilter. Our current mailfilter has the option to send an auto reply (for each incoming message) for choosen mailboxes.
As far as I know Exchange 365 only support the out-of-office feature to send automated messages to external persons.
Is there an option to setup automated messages as in our current mailfilter. In Exchange of maybe in 3th party tooling?

- It's one of the places EOP is deficient compared to 3rd party options. You can do an auto-reply as a transport rule...but it's pretty ugly. The sender basically receives what looks like an NDR, and it's not very customisable.
Stick to the Outlook rule or other options if possible - If you want to send auto-reply to each received message, use Outlook rules. Here's a sample article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-rules-to-create-an-out-of-office-message-9f124e4a-749e-4288-a266-2d009686b403

Thanks for your reply. I knew about Outlook rules to send an auto-reply. But these are send only to internal senders. When I send a message from outside, no auto-reply is send.
(We already use Outlook rules, just test it for sure.)
Do I have to do additional configuration to send also to outside senders?
