Auto Email for Decommission Server

Hi

Hi, My Microsoft Exchange version is 2013 for my current domain. I am changing my domain to 365 and my email address will be my new name. I need support after I decommissioned the current 2013 exchange server. I need to send an automated mail to the recipients to customize message to send to new email addresses.

The content seems like this below;

"Dears,

The email address which you send it is no longer is active, Please send email to mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons

Please advice me how to do it.

Thank you

    Is there any reason you can't add the old email address as an alias to the M365 mailbox? This is generally how email address changes are done. That way all outgoing emails (and the replies to those) use the new address, but you still receive anything to the old address. You can then add a signature to your emails advising recipients of your new email address.

        You add both your new domain and your old domain as custom domains to the M365 tenant. The new domain is the primary SMTP address for the mailbox while the old domain is a secondary SMTP address for the mailbox...then point you MX record to Exchange online. Mail is then received in the mailbox for both SMTP addresses, but sent out as the primary SMTP address only.
