Multiple chats sessions with same contact in S4B window ?
Hi, Tim: Look up in the thread. I commented last week that we are working on a fix that will ship in a coming update, perhaps at end of October.
Phil Garding.
I'm looking forward to this update.
Have just experienced, that a chat was split in two right before my eyes. A collegue with whom I'm chatting has asked me (yet another) question and I received that as a single message in a new chat.
My reply went back to him in the original chat - where he also answered me!
This has to be happening withing the same session - or what?

Curious if this will also address the issue of deleted threads reappearing (happens on my iOS device, not Windows)? It was mentioned previously, but I didn't see anything indicating if this will be fixed too.

If you are using an insider build, you can send feedback by selecting Report an issue on the Help menu of the app.

Hi Phil and thanks for the reply.
I don't know if he opened or closed a window, but I can ask. I do not use conversations in separate windows.
I got a "boble" telling me there is a new chat messaged, I clicked it to reply and got confused as the conversation was split this way. Until I replied, both chats were marked with the same time: 15:18 (of course now they only show "Friday"). See the attached.
Can you mail me an instruction of how to send a feedback? I have gathered logs, but do not wish to make them public.
Regards,
Abraham Olsen

Hi, Abraham:
In this case, did your collegue close the window and open a new window in order to send you the other question? If so, this is the key scenario that causes the split. When his question arrives, it comes in as a new conversation (with a new conversation ID) and the app treats it as new and opens the new window.
If your colleague didn't open a new window, I would like to understand what is happening better. If this is the case, could you send feedback so we can look at your logs?
Thanks,
Phil.
