Refresh Enterprise Mode Site List
stesch79 At the moment, you will need to wait the 65 seconds and restart the Edge browser for the site list XML to reflect changes.
We are working towards a better experience for this. Thanks for the feedback!

ist there a way to force EDGE to update the Site List.xml throug cmd? (Command Processor Software)
This would be a easy way to get EDGE update the list and build a (for example) .bat file and let this run on logon.

Reviving this thread. Anyone have any luck getting this to work w/o having to manually "Force update"?
I'm on the latest version of Edge, Version 108.0.1462.76, and it's doing what the OP described. It doesn't remember the site list after closing an Edge session.

I did a workaround with a .bat file where the edge sitelist settings will be openend and the few keyboard steps to the update button one after another will be send to update the list and then the settings will be closed. it works for me pretty well and i added this to the autostart settings. the only thing is that u have to keep edge running after u ran the .bat file. if u close it u have to run the file again.
for this u have to set the sitelist in the registry.

Wouldn't it make sense to have it try to get a file right away when there is nothing in cache? The EntMode not kicking in right away is an issue on terminal servers where the profile doesn't roam and main sites accessed need to be told IE. Thanks! Shilpa_Subramanian

Microsoft
jeffj I'm sorry I did not circle back. If you go to edge://compat/enterprise, there is now a Force Update button that will refresh XML changes instantly. Hope that helps!

Shilpa_Subramanian Moving EntMode to Roaming Profile also would address this at least for our Terminal server Farm. It is the 65 seconds every day that is the issue. Thanks, Jeff
