There is a gap / overlay covering the URL bar in stable release 140

With some users the overlay is transparent. The issue seems to be triggered by typing in the URL bar before the homepage is loaded. A second Edge browser that is opened does not have the issue. ...

Well described! The only workaround for me so far is to await that page to be loaded, before you start typing in the address bar

jmsoulsby678​ Zedd_Em​ jsavage-work​ Hi Everyone!  I'm believe the fix is included in Stable v140.0.3485.81.  I'm waiting for confirmation from the team but if you update you may see the issue is no longer reproducing.  Thanks!

    Kelly_Y​ Great news. I have communicated it within the IT dept and expect to be able to inform you of the resolution from employees that are updated. I'll respond when I have feedback in the coming days.
    A huge thankyou for pushing it through to the current stable release v140.
