Homepage tab not loading 128.0.2739.42

    Thanks everyone for the help on this one!  The team has a fix, which is planned to be released with the next Stable 128 update, later this week.  

     

    As a temporary workaround, you should be able to use the following command line argument: 

     

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --disable-features="msIrm, msIrmv2, msEndpointDlp"

lexcyn Hi - Just to confirm, what does "new tab homepage" mean?  Does a new tab open the Microsoft Edge Enterprise new tab page or do you have any policies in place for the new tab to open a different URL?  Thanks!

Kelly_Y sorry I should have been more specific - we have Edge to start with a forced homepage URL in a new tab (so it won't retain user history of open tabs). So when the browser launches and opens the homepage URL, it freezes at "loading" and never loads the homepage. You can get around this by opening a new tab and hitting the home button.     lexcyn Thanks!  Do you have any corresponding crashes found at edge://crashes/?  If so, can you share the Bucket ID/CAB ID?  You can directly message me or click "Submit feedback" on the page, mention "TechCommunity", and make sure to include diagnostic data.

      Kelly_Y I had one of our affected clients submit a report with that in the notes, didn't seem like there were any crash reports though!
