Hi, Does anyone know if it's possible to set 'Ask before closing a window with multiple tabs' via Group Policy or Group Policy Preferences? I can't see it in the policy documentation and haven't ...

Tomr96 Hi, I just found that the new policy is ready (require v104+, current stable version is 102.0.1245.44 and Dev version is 104.0.1287.1). More information here:

May 06, 2022Tomr96 I don't see any specific updates about this feature request. Have you also submit feedback for this as well? ("..." menu > Help and feedback > Send feedback)
I do want to mention that even if this setting is not turned on, users can go to History > Recently closed > restore last session. This will open up the tabs from the previous session if the browser is closed.

I will submit a feature request, but usually by Microsoft's method if it's a button that can be toggled/changed its normally linked to a group policy.
In our scenario we are talking about Kiosk Mode and wanting to say a prompt before they close and lose all their work - which wouldn't be recoverable under the History section.
