Group Policy for 'Ask before closing a window with multiple tabs'

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to set 'Ask before closing a window with multiple tabs' via Group Policy or Group Policy Preferences? I can't see it in the policy documentation and haven't found a registry key to set either.

thanks

  • Tomr96 Hi, I just found that the new policy is ready (require v104+, current stable version is 102.0.1245.44 and Dev version is 104.0.1287.1). More information here:

Get user confirmation before closing a browser window with multiple tabs

    Regards,

    Ken

  • islands Hi - I'm also not able to find a policy that controls the setting to "Ask before closing a window with multiple tabs"

If you haven't had a chance yet, you can submit feature requests through the browser ("..." menu > Help and feedback > Send feedback).  Thanks!

      Hi Kelly,

Is there any update on this as we are needing this within our Edge deployment as IE is coming end of support.

      Thanks, Tom.
