Edge browser crashes after file download / open

Hello,  I am using Edge browser  Version 142.0.3595.80 (Official build) (64-bit),  on Linux. When  downloading a file , and trying to open the downloaded file from wihin browser, it causes  edge br...

Hi JayT1185​ - 

There was an issue when uploading files, which has been fixed in Beta Version 144.0.3719.18.   You might be experiencing a different issue, since your issue is occurring when downloading.

But one thing to try is updating and seeing if the issue is still reproducing.  If the browser is still crashing after updating, can you also please submit diagnostic data through the browser? ("..." menu > Help and feedback > Send feedback).  Thanks!

    Hi Kelly,
    I tried recording and collecting the dignostic, while  downloading the file. However the diagnostic window crashes along with the Edge and all windows close and crash (including diagnostics)
