The browser crashes on the screen using HTC in IE mode of Edge.
On the screen using HTC, if you close the screen while downloading HTC,
"There was a problem with this web page, so I reopened the Internet Explorer tab."
Will be displayed and the screen will reopen.
It does not occur in IE.
If the above error occurs, the following contents will be recorded in the event log.

Is there any workaround?
We have confirmed two patterns that occur.
-After opening a modal window on a page using HTC, come back and execute close () with ScriptManager etc. in the postback process
・ On screens using HTC, close the screen quickly before downloading HTC.
Both occur when the HTC information is delayed from closing the screen,
We speculate that an access violation may have occurred based on the content of the error.
Please confirm.

ikuno Sorry, I'm not familiar with HTC.
If you are having an issue with your web apps and sites not working as expected in IE mode, you can contact App Assure at no additional cost for remediation support. You can either submit a request for assistance through their website or reach out via email (ACHELP@microsoft.com).
Another option is reaching out to Support https://microsoftedgesupport.microsoft.com/hc/en-us They should be able to gather logs and help investigate your specific case. Thanks!
