Deploying Edge with group policy - MicrosoftEdgeEnterpriseX64.msi installs in Program Files (x86)

Question

If deploying Edge (MicrosoftEdgeEnterpriseX64.msi, 81.0.416.58) with group policy it will install in c:\program files (x86)\...

I always thought, that folder is for 32 bit-applications?

The setup also is detected as 32 bit by the group policy:
