Can't open this page in internet explorer mode. Try reinstalling Edge with Administrator Privledges

I have the same problem but I've noticed it only happens on my Windows 8.1 machines. It works ok on Windows 7 (don't have any Windows 10 clients to test at the moment). I'm using the Edge Beta, its installed at the "system" level, it just won't work on Windows 8.1. I have all the prerequisites installed.

billroland Are you using the "Send all intranet sites to Internet Explorer" policy as well? Can you please share what edge:\\version shows for Command-Line?

    billroland Thank you for your patience! We've identified the bug causing this issue on Windows 8.1. We are working on a fix and you should be able to test it out in the Canary and Dev channels soon.
