Alan Harland is correct, we are including it by default in the Canary and Dev channels.

Elliot Kirk When you say it's "built-in" how do I know? Defender Protection is obvious on the Mac Canary release. How do you know in the Windows version? Thanks!

I think it would be better to have a separate extension-like icon on windows too, like on macOS. Users can just hide it in the menu if so they wish.
