Windows Crashes When Video Starts

Hello,

When I open certain webpages but mostly on this domain:
https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/toronto-maple-leafs-brad-treliving-ready-to-go-into-2024-25-season-with-core-four-new-coach-1.2162463

the video causes Windows 11 to crash. The screen goes blank and the HDR appears right top corner then it either recovers or about 25% of the time crashes, I am not sure why the different actions though.

If it recovers I pause the video as that is not what I am there to see and all is well. If it crashed I can go into the same URL and it won't crash a 2nd time but give the black screen, HDR then the page comes up and I pause the video.

I have a dump from the last crash that I opened this specific URL but I don't know what to do with that.

Thanks

On windows 10 it errors with unsupported web browser. It might be Ad blocker?

Hi, I am using windows 11 with Chrome, I should have mentioned the Chrome part earlier.

I went to manage extensions, turned off both Adblock and Adblocker I use and I still have the same issue where it's like the Video Display reboots and I get HDR in the top right of a black screen, like when I first boot the laptop. Sometimes it gets that and other times it crashes.

      Thanks, Brian

I think it might be a combination of things, i took a look at Devtools F12 key. and there where a few errors, but i am on win 10 not 11, so it might be an windows 11 issue. You need to find someone with the same issue, try and gain extra info or if anyone has a fix or if MS knows or someone using Google Chrome. Good Luck
