Why is there Microsoft Edge (Chromium) for Windows 8.0?
Hello, Windows 8.0 (Build 9200) hasn't had any support for years, but why did a Microsoft Edge (Chromium) build for Windows 8.0 come out? Greeting Cortablo
Hi Cortablo, there are still many enterprises and consumers that are using older versions of Windows, such as Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. We wanted to make sure that we had a modern browser that they could use, and getting it to work on Windows 7 and 8.1 meant that there was little additional work to get it working properly on Windows 8.
