When is Webview 2 based on Edge (Chromium) going to be finalized and what's the current status?

was updated 7 months ago. at that time it was tagged (developer preview) but now Edge stable is released, so does it mean Webview2 is also finalized?

Also, Will Webview 2 lay the groundwork for Windows SETS?

I've heard rumors that Microsoft has been waiting to finish Webview2 and then roll out Windows SETS to insiders.
