What we're hearing from you
I posted yesterday my sine qua non feature for using Edge Dev (and eventual new chromium Edge release) as my browser, but I didn't actually ask the question. As in the discussion thread about this Middle-wheel-click-links-on-the-Favorites-menu-should-not-close it was said back early last month this would be presented to the product team, but it was not mentioned in the first post in this thread, I would really like to ask, and have answered, the question: is this - having a middle button click on a favourite in favourites menus and submenus (e.g from folders on the favourites bar) NOT close the menu/submenu so multiple favourites can be opened without having to go back and re-open the menus and submenus and navigate back for each one, as current non-chromium Edge and IE and Firefox all allow - is this actually currently intended and planned for this new Chromium Edge?
I would really like to know, because if it is NOT I will never consider using it as my browser (as I won't consider using Google Chrome because it is the one current main browser that doesn't, and Google have given every indication they are not going to change). And if you are not, I am wasting my time testing Edge Dev, and will just get more and more irritated getting my hopes up you might have added it each release then getting disappointed each time it's not there. Disability gives me quite enough irritation and disappointment in life without adding more, so I'd really like to know if there are current definite plans to add this feature, or not. If not and you say so, I will quietly take my leave, and you will be spared increasingly anguished posts from me about it every release.
