I started experiencing the exact same thing. And you can even go to edge to Google.com and their microphone also doesn't work in edge .

Even Microsoft's own speech api web page doesn't work

I’m still running into the same issue on Edge 147.0.3912.86. When I check the network activity, I can see requests being made to Microsoft’s speech servers, but they still end up failing with network errors. Am I missing something? It also fails on the MDN test page.
