Use Calibre E-book manager (free) to read your EPUB files
They already said no native epub is coming to Edge. it's a browser, not book reader. plus, PDF is a better and more universal format that's being supported in Edge.
there also addons to have epub reader in Edge:

Yes, no support for EPUB is current plan for Microsoft Edge , however in case people would really love this feature , especially those who migrate from Microsoft Edge Legacy might request it and in case many people ask for this , then Microsoft Edge team will reconsider.
Agreed PDF is recommended format and personally, I am not using EPUB and there was few cases where I did and I used Adobe one which I mentioned.

there is no reason to bloat the browser with unnecessary stuff. epub is unnecessary while there are many alternative software built primarily for that.- Ibukun MomsonNov 18, 2020Iron Contributor
HotCakeX Is there any means to convince the legacy Edge development team to publish the Epub and PDF readers previously bundled into legacy Edge as a separate simple standalone UWP application published in the store?
This would be a great service to Epub readers everywhere! I still say nothing out there as of today compares to the built in Epub reader of Legacy Edge.

Ibukun Momson I already mentioned, earlier in the thread, why it probably isn't a 'simple' thing for the Edge team to publish their legacy EPUB-reading system as a standalone UWP app. Namely: they'd have to include a lot of the legacy Edge core within that app, and it would therefore be a serious maintenance problem, to keep it all working, as the OS got upgraded in ways that would break the legacy Edge core. I think we can be sure that, if it was easy, they would be doing it. Therefore, because they aren't doing it, it probably isn't easy. (How's that for circular reasoning!)
